Kathryn Kendall, MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT140530). Kathryn works with clients and families using a strength based, collaborative approach. She provides compassionate, supportive, non-judgmental care to clients in all phases of life and works to help them achieve their goals. Kathryn believes in empowering clients to accept and live as their authentic selves.

Kathryn completed her Bachelor’s Degree in human development with an emphasis in counseling at California State University San Marcos and worked with transitional aged youth in her undergraduate internship. She completed her Master’s Degree in Psychology in 2021 from California Southern University. Her graduate internship experience included working at Alvarado Parkway Institute inpatient hospital. Kathryn continued her work at Alvarado Parkway Institute after graduation working with substance use disorders and adults experiencing psychiatric crises. She provided group, individual and family counseling as well as dual diagnosis care.

Kathryn has completed multiple trainings in DBT including Intensive Training in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Prolonged Exposure Protocol for PTSD with Melanie Harned, PhD, ABPP & Annie McCall, LMHC.

Kathryn also meets for weekly DBT team consultation with Personal Evolution Psychotherapy. As a member of the PEP DBT team, Kathryn provides comprehensive DBT to teens, adults, couples, and families.
