Autum Horton, MA, AMFT (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, AMFT #159795 at Personal Evolution Psychotherapy. Autumn earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CSU Monterey Bay. She completed her clinical internship at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital in the Eating Disorder Program, where she provided individual, family, and group therapy at the IOP/PHP level of care. Her training included evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness interventions, and exposure and response prevention (ERP).
Her prior professional experiences include work as an Enrollment Counselor at Point Loma Nazarene University, a Case Manager at Family Health Centers of San Diego, and roles in ABA therapy and case support services. These positions strengthened her skills in clinical communication, advocacy, and providing care to diverse and underserved populations.
Autumn has formal training in Trauma-Informed Care, Crisis Intervention, Safety and Suicide Prevention, Psychological First Aid, and working affirmatively with LGBTQIA+ patients. She is dedicated to ongoing growth as a clinician and committed to helping clients build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Autumn is being clinically supervised by Sue Boyd, LCSW, and attends PEP’s weekly DBT consultation team to support her continued development .
