Leah Bellack, MSW is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #89480). Though a native Southern Californian, Leah has spent much of the last decade living in Park City, Utah and Breckenridge, Colorado teaching adaptive recreation and coaching ski racing. Leah believes in the healing power of nature and importance of grounding in our senses and surroundings to recalibrate the mind, body and emotions to bring out our best selves. Leah utilizes a client-centered, non-judgmental approach to help her clients draw upon their innate strengths as she empowers them to make positive changes in their lives.

Leah obtained her Masters in Social Work at San Diego State University in 2019 and completed her first clinical internship at High Tech High School in Chula Vista providing individual counseling to elementary and high school students as well as leading social skills groups and in-class workshops on mindfulness, family issues, yoga and healthy relationships. Leah completed her second clinical internship at Kaiser Permanente in Rancho Bernardo where she helped lead weekly anxiety groups and provided individual, group and family counseling to a diverse population of individuals and diagnoses. After obtaining her Master’s degree, Leah continued working with children and adults at San Diego Center for Children as an Intensive Care Coordinator in their Wraparound program. There, she focused on supporting youth and their families involved in the child welfare and probation systems, advocating on their behalf in educational, judicial and medical settings, connecting them to community resources to foster independence and designing care plans to identify and improve upon their unmet needs.
