Carrie Hill, MA, is a DBT Skills Trainer at Personal Evolution Psychotherapy (PEP), providing DBT skills training in both PEP’s comprehensive DBT program as well as PEP”s DBT Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Carrie has provided skills training to all populations that PEP serves. Carrie earned her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University in San Diego, and received Bachelor's degrees in International Business and Spanish at Western Washington University. While pursuing her Master's degree, Carrie worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at the Center For Mindful Relationships, providing individual, couples and family counseling services to clients in San Diego. While at the Center, Carrie also worked at Hilltop Middle School and Palomar High School in Chula Vista providing individual and group psychotherapy to teens struggling with behavioral and relational issues, major life adjustments, and mental health concerns. Carrie's experience includes in-depth knowledge and practice of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as training and practice in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Carrie is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and is a member of PEP's DBT consultation team.
